Self Portrait

Oy, My camera is heavy.
Once every 2 - 3 years, I try taking a pic of myself. Today was that day.
In the past 12 months, my camera and I have both gained weight; me with extra flesh, my camera with an external flash and a new lens.

My wrist was having a hard time holding the camera at a weird angle. I tried taking a pic in my bathroom - but  my mirror is a trifold one, so I get a line through my face in the finished photo. Drew's bathroom has a bigger mirror, but the light was inadequate because he's covered the window with a towel to keep the cold out. So I tried the mirror in Drew's bedroom, which was filthy and tilted at an unflattering angle.

So:

There you go.
I have Farrah Fawcett's hair and Cloris Leachman's face.
This is what I looked like on the morning of Nov 25, 2011.

By the afternoon I looked different.

Hormones.

Three things I'm thankful for:
1. You tube.

You have no idea.
Seriously I spent minutes. Many minutes. Maybe even 30 of them, trying to figure out how to reload the roll of sticky squares into this handy sticky squares machine.

And then I thought, "What would Clint do?"
And he would totally google it, look for a video, then be smug.
So that's what I did.
Seconds later, I was back at it - making Graduation Banquet Invitations for work, while watching Harry Potter 4. (Yes, I saw HP7 last night and loved it) but I need to know when Harry and Ginny got together. (It wasn't in the 4th movie/book, in case you're wondering.)

2. It snowed today, and it was lovely. My truck? The FORD Escape I bought last Spring? Had no problems.
After work I drove out to my sister's place for a haircut. (Hello? The '70's are OVER.)

Their place looked so tranquil:

3. It's Thursday.

Shalom,

The snow is beautiful. Seriously, I would love a bit of winter. It may be hard to believe, but tropical weather and 90 degree days all year long are very boring.
