Tis the Season to be thankful

1. I have a tree. It is upright. Unfortunately it has blue and white lights with red baubles, (what was I thinking?) so it looks less like a Christmas tree and more like a homage to the our neighbours to the south. It SMELLS like Christmas though.

2. Attended the Michael W Smith extravaganza last night (120 performers onstage - choir, orchestra, extra singers, etc) and felt I was at my first age-appropriate event. It was a little bit boring. I still prefer loud(er) music with energy and angst. It was lovely (I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10) but maybe I'm too uncultured to appreciate it.

3. Going to look at the twinkle lights in Van Dusen tonight. My camera is working. It is not raining. What could be better?

Shalom,
