Jan 17 = Proverbs 17

Underlined, in yellow, in my Bible:

Grandchildren are the crowing glory of the aged.

Disregarding another person's faults preserves love; telling others about them separates close friends.

It is senseless to pay tuition to educate a fool who has no heart for wisdom.

Anyone who loves a quarrel loves sin.

It is painful to be the parent of a fool; there is no joy to be the parent of a rebel.

A foolish child brings grief to his father and bitterness to his mother.

A truly wise person uses few words.
