Day Ate

Or Day 8.
Of this fabulous period of rest.

Yes. I spent a fair bit of time in the sun again today.
Yes. I floated in the pool again.
Yes. I read another book:

I recommend it.

But then.
This evening?
We went to Bucerias. (That arsty place I was telling you about.)
And it was TOTALLY awesome.

We got there just as the sun was setting so it was especially beautiful.

We walked around for a few hours to take pics and lookit art and jewelry.

It was so pretty there.

Mostly.

The "art" street was super cute. And quaint. And full of Canadians. Oh my goodness, everywhere we went there where Canadians.

And 98% of the shop owners spoke English.

The messier part of town:
(Notice the full moon?)

Wanna see the rest of tonight's pics?
Go here.

Know what else I loved about tonight?
Hanging out with The Cousin's (Wayne's cousins) afterwards for an hour or so.
They are all in their late 60's/early 70's and So Full Of Life.
We bumped into a few of their friends in the last studio on the art walk, and they invited us to join them at Don, Bonnie and Shirl's place. So we did. And inside this cute bungalow,

were about a dozen rockin seniors, welcoming us "girls" to the party. Lots of laughter. Stories. Interest. Advice. Encouragement. Hugs. And invitations to look them up the next time we're in Barrie, Ontario.

I SO want to be a senior just like them.
:)

Three things I'm thankful for:
1. Inspiring evenings.
2. Message from a friend who must've known I would be struggling with guilt (Why me? Why should I be so lucky to be on this great holiday? This is such a selfish vacation. Should I be DOING something for someone instead. Is God disappointed in me...) that said this: this vacation MADE for you. i think it has a tag on it... "To Jane from Jesus - with love"
3. The m&m's in the Costco  trailmix bag.

Shalom,
