Because I Went On a Stupid 30 Minute Walk ...

... I missed Max when he popped in for a visit. No one was home and the door was locked so he left.

INSERT SAD FACE.

Kinda makes me want to quit this whole walking everyday thing. Dumb idea anyway. No it isn't. I'll keep it up.

It's a 30 Day Challenge, and I. Am. Going. To. Prevail.

Praying today for: Moldova and Monaco. There sure are alot of countries that start with M. And did you know that Monaco is only 2 square kilometers? That is a seriously small country. And Moldavo? It's that landlocked country between Romania and the Ukraine. And that theme that has been traversing through my life this summer? Just resurfaced again... Here is what they say about Moldavo : Moldova is the source for the largest numbers of young women lured abroad into human trafficking rings. OY, Moldavo? I will pray for you.

And reading The Bible in One Year? How lucky am I? Yesterday was the final chapter of Job (such a gooder) and today? Started Ecclesiastes. What's not to love about Ecclesiastes?

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:

2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

And the Psalm for today? Only Psalm 46 - one of the best ones...
1 God is our refuge and strength,
   an ever-present help in trouble.

“Be still, and know that I am God"

Today's Photography Challenge is to take a pic of 'what I wore today'.

Top Left:  1:00 am - 8:00 am - navy blue tank top and pajama shorts
Top Right: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm - patterned skirt with a huge ripped seam right at my butt, so a long brown sweater needed to be worn over a black tank top
Bottom Left: 5:30 pm - 11:00 pm - ill-fitting white capri's and a sleeveless patterned top
Bottom Right: 11:00 pm - red night shirt

Whoa, was that a boring photo shoot or what?
By the way, I just threw that skirt out. The rip is beyond repair. And it's old. And ugly. My goal earlier this summer was to get rid of all brown clothes. Not sure how these items managed to stay alive during the Great Brown Purge of July '11...

It's Friday.
People mag night.

One of my fav features is the last page. It's called CHATTER and it profiles a famous person asking them One Last Thing:

Last Chore I Did - (Kyra Sedgwick made beds) I washed and dried a load of towels.
Last Time I Exercised - (Kyra did Tabata Protocol that morning) I went for a walk tonight.
Last Gift I Bought Someone - (Justin Bieber bought his grandparents a house) I bought Danica a travel Crib game and Halee a box of whale thank you cards.
Last Album I Bought: (Justin Bieber bought Watch the Throne by Jay Z) I bought the Need to Breathe CD
Last Junk Food I Ate (Maggie Q ate sweet-potato fries) I had 2 cupcakes
Last Item I Purchased (Maggie Q bought an old fashioned handset complete with curly cord for her iPhone) I bought groceries.

Whoa. That was boring too.
I might as well just go to bed.

Gnite.

Three things I'm thankful for:
1. The holes on my neck have healed nicely.
2. Dinner then a few hours with Clint and Drew, looking at houses. Our dream home was not amongst the three we walked through tonight.
3. Last weekend of the summer and it's supposed to be HOT. And SUNNY. And yeah.

Shalom,
