1. Friends with pools. Who invite me over. Last night (Thursday) I hung out at Terry's because it was stinkin hot and perfect lounge-around-the-pool weather.
There were little people there, enjoying their auntie's incredible back yard.
Perfect late summer evening.
2. Friends with September birthdays. Tonight (Friday) we celebrated in Steveston. Six of us, all wearing black and white, by coincidence, sat on the patio, right at the marina and talked.
As the sun set, we ate good food, talked about pinterest and laughed.
Then we walked over to a coffee shop, bought some too-sweet desserts and talked some more.
I love talking.
3. I'm thankful that while I've been out with friends, so has Drew.
In the past two days he's been golfing, at the gym with Clint's friends and hanging out with car-friends, getting ready for Cruise In tomorrow.
So far? September has been a winning month.
