Sick.

That cold?
Descended on me.
And I'm miserable.

Oy the violent sneezing. And the nose blowing. And the never-ending eye itchiness.
AND THE ADVICE. OH MY GOODNESS - THE ADVICE.

Have you heard of a neti pot?
Neither had I.
So I googled it:

This little tool works like magic. Water goes in, boogers and dust come out. No more medicine! No more medicine!

Gross.
But I'm getting desperate, so maybe I will consider this.

In the meantime, I'm staying in bed, drinking water, keeping an eye on things happening on the internet and I'm reading.

Finished these books yesterday:

This was written by my friend, Christine Lindsay. Yay, Christine! Want to hear more about it? Listen to Christine, here, as she talks about her book. (It was like having her snuggle here in bed beside me, telling me about Abby, and Geoff, and India and the Raj.)   Listen here.

And then, because I could, I started and finished reading this:

The tagline is "What would you do if the face in a missing child photo was your son's?"

It's been nice to spend some time reading, but really? I would have rather gone to the Casting Crown concert last night, ESPECIALLY SINCE I BOUGHT 13 TICKETS FOR IT. I'm not bitter.

Three things I'm thankful for:

1. Podcasts. I've been hanging with Jeff, Ezra, Darcy and Greg this afternoon. Listening to them talk about marriage with Dr. Dave Curry has been Interesting. With a capital I.

2. Thanksgiving is around the corner. BEST HOLIDAY EVER.

3. Soft Kleenex.

Shalom,

As gross as the Netty pot thing sounds and is... it works!! My family was sick for weeks on end, but the healing came through flushing our noses! Tip... open your mouth and don't breathe! You can buy something similar, and I think easier, at Shoppers, etc. It's called "NeilMed Sinus Rinse" and it's a bottle and the salt in a nice, little kit. Bon Chance!
