Just Beat It, Billie Jean was Not His Lover

Oy. THAT was so much fun.

Seeing MJ died while the 4 of us were together, on a harbour cruise around Manhatten, the night after we took in a show at the Apollo Theatre (where he first performed) I feel like Michael Jackson is 'ours'. ("Ours" meaning Clint's, Max's, Drew's and mine.)

So, of course, I had to make sure we were at the show tonight.

We love Cirque, and Michael Jackson is ours - so it was a winning night. So much crazy talent. Such great music. The stunts. The dancing. The choreography. The costumes.

The only thing missing was Michael himself.

Made me appreciate him. Because he probably would've been right at home in the midst of that extravaganza. It felt weird listening to recorded music, when everything else was live. (The band and back up vocals.)

My favorite part? Being out with my kids, especially because everyone was happy.

Three things I'm thankful for:
1. Only 5 more sleeps til DISNEYLAND.
2. The attic is quiet.
3. Laughter.

Shalom,
