Praying for Jessica

Update, posted by Jessica's brother on her facebook page:

Jessica's lungs are not improving. It's as simple as that. Today, the doctor used the word 'terrible' t describe the condition of her lungs. Obviously this is hard to hear, but she is still in the first 48 hours of the ECMO procedure, and the doctors estimated a time of 7-10 days for the lungs to heal.
Tomorrow, another X-ray of her lungs will be taken and we are believing by faith that there will be improvements. That the inflammation will have gone down, even a little, and that there would be major improvements!

This weekend has been an incredible time of faith filled prayer, beginning Friday night at youth, carrying into Saturday with friends at the hospital, this morning at church, then again today at the hospital. Continue to contend for Jess, as she can't do it herself. We're her support, and we're the ones that can call out to the Lord for her healing, so let's do that without ceasing!

Thank you for all the support you have all shown. The entire family feels blessed by each and every one of you.

always praying and so thankful that we serve a God who in control. He is not finished with you yet, sweet girl. tonight in worship the words kept coming to mind, "there is power in the name of Jesus, to break every chain!" praying that over you jessica! that you would be completely and totally healed so that you could keep on living the incredible testimony that your life is. That the chains of hurt and sickness would be broken. God is faithful and good and we can rest in that. you are so loved by so many people and these past few weeks have made that so evident. our God is greater!!♥

"Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord." Psalm 27:14. It's all in His hands.

We're so lucky to serve a God that is much bigger that all our problems.

Psalm 3:3-5 "you are a shield around me, O Lord; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head. to the Lord I cry aloud, and he answers me from his holy hill. I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me." I'm so excited for you to wake up! our God is able!

"Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. "Psalm 103:2-5

God in my living,
There in my breathing
God in my waking,
God in my sleeping!

"And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father." John 14.13.

God, we realize that we are unable to do anything aside from you. that it is only my an intervention from you that we will see this miracle. We are so thankful that you are not limited my human understanding, but we find peace in the fact that your ways are higherthan our own. So, right now, we come to you, humbly, proclaiming Jess's healing in your name. We declare that by the name of Jesus Christ, Jess's lungs will begin to improve and heal themselves. That it is by your name that she will walk out of that hospital healthier than ever before. And that all glory and honour would go to you. God that throughout all of this, that you would be glorified and be made known. We trust that you work all things together for good, and hold onto the promise that you reign over this situation. Amen.

Jessica, you are in the best place possible, resting in the arms of Jesus while believers around the world cry out to the Lord on your behalf. We are praying for a complete healing of your body. God is doing amazing things in you and in us while we are waiting on Him.

Our God is greater, Our God is stronger, Our God is HEALER! Awesome in power.

Our God is SO mighty and powerful and you are safe in HIS arms of love.

"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus.."

‎"Humble yourselves under God's mighty hand that He may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you... And the God of all grace who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To Him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.
