On this rainy Saturday, Heather and I drove down to Seattle to do a bit of shopping and see a movie. Totally random but do-able because her husband is out of town (I LOVE it when my friends' husbands work evening shifts or travel...) and I? I am always free.
In addition to the above 3 (OK, 4) things I was thankful for at dinner (I wrote the above list on the table at the Macaroni Grill in Lynnwood) I am also thankful for:
1. The entertainment industry and how much effort goes into transforming us to another time and place for a few hours.
2. I am thankful again and again that I live in this time and in this place.
3. And I'm thankful for weekends.
