Back To School

Technically, I only have one child in school this year; Clint.
And he's doing his final University course online, so he won't be actually stepping into a classroom.

Come January, he will have his degree... A Bachelor in International Development.
Quite proud of him.

:)

But Max is gettin' some learnin' this fall too.
He'll be going for some sort of Landscaping Certification - which, as far as I can tell, is a self-directed study with an exam at the end.

Very proud of him.

And that's it.
That's the grand sum of higher education aspirations going on around here.

I so wish I had a reason to buy notebooks and sharp pencils.

Three things I'm thankful for:

1. A good great weekend. Thanks, Clint, Max and Drew, for coming to the lake.

2. It's salmon season in these parts. So good.

3. PVRs. My mom recorded the second episode of Outlander, and I chatted through it with Jenn who'd seen it on Sunday. Technology is a beautiful thing.

4. Thankful for Tricia and our Right Coast - Left Coast blog. So fun.

Shalom,
xo

I know that buying school supplies for someone in your house is uber fun. But a lot of places are doing school supply drives. And some of em like money, but some places just want you to drop off the supplies. Generic items like crayons and pencils and scissors and notebooks are always appreciated :)
