A Couple Lists

It's after midnight and he's still awake. Gravol does not work on O's. We are nocturnal creatures.

Things about my sons that I'm proud of:
1. Clint's uncomplaining (non complaining?) work ethic. He left this morning at 4:30 am and got home after 7:00 pm. He's been spending his evenings working on stuff for our church's youth group. Not once have I heard him say he's tired.

2. Max's willingness to branch out. He's in a new school and has no classes with anyone he knows. I've been trying to get some changes for him, but he's not worried. "If it doesn't work out mom, it's OK. Really. I'll make more friends. It's not a big deal to me." I dropped him off at his Continuing Education (night school) class this afternoon. Again, he knew no one. And he was by far the youngest in the class. "It was fine. It doesn't bother me that I don't know anyone."

3. Drew's positive outlook. Even though things didn't quite turn out like he hoped this school year, he's optimistic. "It's gonna be dope, mom." I love picking him up from school because he's always having a good day.

Three things I'm thankful for:
1. Chinese Take Out
2. Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion in the pink container
3. Draino and Kaboom. Yay, hairball is gone. (Although, those fumes burnt off my eyelashes and nose hairs as well...)

Take care,
