The other 25

26. Where would you like to go?
To Sedona Arizona, Greece, Italy, Australia, The Keg for supper, White Rock for a walk, A Garden Centre to dream about Spring, back in time to right some wrongs, Portugal because I hear it's nice, to bed...
27. Do you own slippers?
Like, a pair of them? No. I have just one. It's under the dining room table.
28. Where do you think you'll be in 10 yrs?
Let's see... ten years... Clint will be 29, Max will be 25 and Drew will be 21.
I'll probably be a mother-in-law by then. Maybe a grandma.
If all goes as planned, I'll be modeling bikinis at the old folks home desperately trying to snag a rich old fart.
29. Do you burn or tan?
There are two things I do well. Grow hair. And darken my skin by the warmth of the sun's rays.
30. Last thing you ate?
Fudge Oat Bar at Starbucks an hour ago with Terry.
31. Would you be a pirate?
In a heart beat. Johnny Depp will be on board right?
32. Would you have cosmetic surgery?
Lately I've been thinking about having Laser Eye Surgery. Is that cosmetic? I'd make sure they leave all the wrinkles in tact.
33. What songs do you sing in the shower?
"I'm too sexy for my skin".
And "Amazing Grace".
I am so just kidding.
34. What did you fear was going to get you at night as a child?
A fierce dog with sharp fangs.
35. What's in your pockets right now?
Let's just take a look, shall we? Uh huuh. My Visa. Which reminds me, I should sign it. There. Done. My "Just Ladies" Fitness card, complete with a new photograph of me. Two $10 Starbuck's gift cards. I try and give out one a week as a random act of kindness. The receipt for said Starbuck's purchases. And, yes, let's see, it's a crumpled up Starbuck's napkin.
36. Last thing that made you laugh?
Terry describing their Spring Break holiday in Disney World. And how her very smart, very educated, accountant-made-partner husband boldly kept getting lost in their hotel.
Then when she showed me her holiday pictures I asked, "Who are these people?"
Turns out it was her family.
Then I ran to my truck to get my glasses.
37. Best bed sheets you had as a child?
Best? Like there were options in some people's childhoods? I thought we all had the same white sheets with flowers on them.
38. Worst injury you've ever had?
I'm going to keep the same answer the blogger before me used: broken heart.
40. How many TVs do you have in your house?
3 - The one in my bedroom is old and doesn't get all the channels, nor does the remote work. Consequently it is rarely turned on. It makes a lovely dust magnet. There just aren't enough things to dust in my room, so I keep it on hand for that reason. The one in the front enrance is not hooked up to cable, so it is used only for Nintendo gaming. It is also quite old by television standards (23 years) (1, 786 in dog years) so it is not DVD friendly. The family room TV seems to be set on one channel only. The onel that plays The Simpsons 24 hours a day.
41. Who is your loudest friend?
Loudest? Loudest? That would be me. It's not anything I'm proud of, it's just that I have such demure, soft-spoken gentle friends with quiet indoor voices and I'm not like that.
42. Who is your most silent friend?
Silent friend. Silent as in doesn't talk much? I don't have any friends like that.
43. Does someone have a crush on you?
Wouldn't that be cool?
44. Do you wish on the stars?
No, Hollywood holds no appeal to me.
Ha ha. That was the other blogger's answer.
No, I don't wish on the stars. I pray to the God who made and placed those stars.
45. What is your favorite book?
That's like asking who is my favorite son.
46. What is your favorite candy?
Sweet Tarts
47. What song do you want played at your wedding?
Breathe
48. What song do you want played at your funeral?
I think I covered this already.... "School's Out" by Alice Cooper.
Hello? Pay attention to previous posts.
Oh good grief, I am kidding.
49. What were you doing 12AM last night?
Reading "Delirious Summer" in bed.
Sipping a Bloody Mary while getting a foot massage from my house boy Juan.
50. Do you love the pain a tattoo brings?
No. No I do not love the pain that a tattoo brings. I prefer the pain that having your long hair pulled through a holey streaking cap brings. Yeah. That's what I'm talking about. Having someone dig at your scalp with a crochet hook and yank on a small knot of hair and rip it through a rubber skull cap with holes. Oh baby. Now that's pain. Bring it on.

That's it?
All done?
Whew. That went quick tonight.

Three things I'm thankful for:
1. The Science Fair project is DONE! It is so done. Done like a burnt burger on the Bar-B. Oh yeah. And it's not due til Thursday. Oh yeah.
2. Max did not forcefully empty the contents of his stomach back up through his mouth again. Yay. He's all better.
3. Me and two friends are going to take a two week digital photography class together. Starts this Wednesday. Oh the things I will learn. It will be amazing. Oh the pictures I will take. They will be so not-average.
I hope I catch on.

Shalom,
