Three things I'm thankful for:1. I was not born in Asia before the war. How lucky am I to have been blessed with the gift of living in this time in this place?
2. That I've had a few evenings of selfish-indulgence doing things I enjoy, guilt-free. Starting with the mini-retreat at Cultus with my writing buddies all the way to last night's crafting cluck - I've re-charged my batteries, filling myself up with fun.
3. The rain. I'm totally OK with wet weather on days that I work. It eliminates inner conflict - knowing I have to work versus aching with desire to be in the sunshine. So, yeah, I thankful that it rained today. That said, I need for there to be sunshine on Saturday. I'm fading.
