I fell asleep in the bathtub this evening.

Seriously. I gotta get a grip.

Nothing got checked off my list tonight. Did I just waste a perfectly good opportunity to get on top of things around here? Yes. Yes I did. Before I passed out in the tub I was reading Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller. Can't remember much of what he was spouting off about other than the thought that Satan is happiest when we waste time.

So now I am burdened with guilt for being totally unproductive during the past 8 hours. Suck.
I sure know how to make an issue out of nothing. It's that Jewish grandmother in me that escapes every once in awhile to mess with my brain. Oy vey.

Oh well, it's only midnight. I've still got an hour to get something (anything) done. Sweep? Dishes? Clean room? Bathroom? The possibilities are endless.

Three things I'm thankful for:
1. The opportunities coming Clint's way. Who woulda thought that his particular area of expertise would be so marketable? Production assistant for an animated feature film? VJ for a local christian band. Videographer for a snowboarding trip. Thankful that he just may be able to earn a living doing something he is passionate about.

2. I work for a company that makes sure everything is covered in prayer. It's either part of God's will or we don't do it.

3. Max just told me that he's going to work out after school tomorrow. This makes my heart sing.

Shalom,
