I Need a Wife

Just in case you haven't been keeping score at home, I've been out every night for the past 10 nights drinking, carousing and speed dating. (Also known as 'doing church stuff', getting together with friends, and driving kids to and from their various activities.)

This morning started early (by my weekend standards) as my kids and I were "greeters" at church.

Afterwards they had lunch with their peeps and I had a party to go to with mine:

We met up with my parents for Chinese Food tonight at 6 - and while Clint has just gone out for the evening, Max, Drew and I are home by ourselves for the first time in forever. And we're all tired.
Laundry needs to be done. Obviously. But we're out of detergent.
And we're out of dishwasher soap.
And bathroom cleaner.
And good food.
And I'm getting real low on shampoo.
The house has not been thoroughly cleaned since the kids got back from their Sun Peaks trip at Christmas.
This home is missing one person; someone who loves to clean. Is passionate about cleaning. Gets meaning from having a clean house. Is joyfilled when everything sparkles. Is not bitter about having to clean. Does not resent being the person responsible for cleaning.
Either I need a wife or an Alice.
Three things I'm thankful for:
1. A quiet (if you don't count Twilight Princess blaring out of the Wii) evening at home.
2. Sons who love to read.
3. Colours.
Shalom,
