You know how a month ago, things were gloomy?

They sure aren't today.

Three things I'm thankful for:
1. Twenty year old Charlene, who has read my blog on occasion, is a student back east. She's joined a bible study group made up of mostly 40-ish year old women. She mentioned to her mom that each member of the group has bought a journal and is committed to recording three things they're thankful for, every day.

I love the way God uses this blog for His purposes.

2. A friend dropped by this afternoon to drop off a christmas card with a money order for (gulp) alot of money. It was from "friends who wished to remain anonymous". When I emailed my thanks, her reply was: You are SO welcome! You are SO worth it!! You are SO loved!!!

I am in awe of God's goodness. He has brought the most amazing people into my life. I am blessed.

3. Tonight? At that prayer thing I go to? We dumped a whole lotta stuff on God. Stuff we don't know how to deal with. Stuff we're not equipped to handle. Stuff that has our stomach in knots. Stuff that keeps us up at night. And I know, I KNOW He is able. He cares about all our stuff, and will give us the resources to handle it. We can rest, knowing He is on the job. He has a plan. And it's a good one.

I am at peace.

Shalom,
