Pix. Not Prose.

Weird.
The layout is all wrong...
Somehow the photos got saved to the right side of the page. And it's messing with my sense of balance.

We're well into October and these geraniums have been ignored since I left for Montreal ... I tell you, you can't beat geraniums for value. So hearty. So resilent. So colourful.

I took an assortment of photos of Drew's face, because I needed an object to photograph in diffused side light. Not sure if I'll use these. The light is coming from the side, and it is diffused, but... the shadow that should be there, just isn't.

I'm posting these, not because of the great photography, but because those of you who know who his parents are are going to exclaim, "Holey Schmoley that kid looks like his dad!"

The photo with the fence and grass is another assignment for my photography class ... something about light and whatnot. Not sure if I'll submit that one either. I really don't know what I'm doing.

Our word of the week is "Energy". So these last photos are of power lines. Get it? Power. Energy. Oh so clever.

Although if I had to choose a word to describe this one, I'd call it "Love"...

Three things I'm thankful for:
1. Non-rainy Thanksgiving Day long weekends. Of course, it would be better if it was like the olden days when we all traipsed up to the cabin for a night or two... Are those days really over?
2. I'm so glad that Drew came along with me as I test-drove a Ford Escape. I am 47 years old and have owned 3 vehicles; a Camero, an Intrepid and Mark's old Durango.
This is the first automobile I am buying all on my own. There's no dad, no husband, making the decision for me. I am a little freaked. Alot freaked.
3. Cranberry Festival this afternoon. Think of the colorful photo ops.

Shalom,

I just rented a Saturn Vue and it was great. Nice ride, good on gas.
