Clean House. Boring Life.

I puttered all evening, determined not to take a spontaneous nap.
After my mamography, I prepared a batch of homemade Chicken Noodle Soup, baked some banana bread and a batch of brownies then cleaned the kitchen. And then cleaned it some more.

I had brought home some work to do, so I did that in between loads of laundry.

And then I put lightbulbs in my new lamps:
... and cleaned off the dining room table. Everything is in its proper place now.

Max replaced all the burnt out pot lights:

... and this was just the most boring evening ever.

I think deep inside me this is a fear that I have.
That I am a boring person.
That I don't try new things.
That I am a stuck-in-a-rut kind of person.
And that's why, a couple years ago, I challenged myself with The List
I've discovered that I can't have a clean house and a completed list. I have to give up one for the other.
February is fast approaching and I have a whole lotta LIST things to do if I want to get a passing mark...
Three things I'm thankful for:
1. The snow stopped falling.
2. Clint has stopped throwing up.
3. We hired a new guy at work. Yay! A graphic artist!
Shalom,
