Powerful

When I read this on September's blog, I got goosebumps.
I imagine it being proclaimed by a passionate mom, standing in the upper hallway of her home, facing her children's bedrooms with her arms outstretched  and her face tittled heavenwards. (Geez. Dramatic much?)

"Satan? Whatever mountain you are placing between me and the restoration of my family, be it demonic oppression, be it sin, rebellion, addictions, apathy, doubt, anger, depression, or anxiety ... whatever it is,  I call upon the powers of Heaven to move it into the sea.  And in the void that's left, I speak extra protection over my family, I speak love and forgiveness and most of all, I speak healing.  What we bind on earth will be bound on heaven so Satan I bind you up and I send you away.  I forbid you to interfere in this process, I forbid you to harass us or hurt us or continue seeking to kill, steal and destroy.  All these things I say in the name of Jesus, with the authority I have as a daughter of the king.  I throw open the heavenly storehouses to pour forth every resource needed to make things happen in our (Clint, Max, Drew and my) lives and in restoring our family.  I call legions of angels to not just protect us against the enemy but to attack him, to push him back on every front.  I speak healing over us."

Amen.

And then that mom throws another load of laundry in the washing machine and plays another word on Facebook scrabble.

But...doesn't the bible warn people to NOT talk to the spirits and the dead?
