New Month. New Header.

I almost forgot.
I had a hard coming up with a "summer"image, what with all the drizzle and arctic temperatures. So I settled on this one. If we get some sunny weather, I'll redo this header (of rust and graffiti on the rail overpass) before the end of the month.

In other news, it's July 1. Canada Day. Whoo Hoo.
I'm sitting at home wondering where the party is.
Well. I know there's a celebration down at McLeod Park, (I can hear it from here) but one of my son's 'shoddied' that event so I daren't show up.
Sigh.

Three things I'm thankful for:
1. My name is Jane and I. Am. Canadian.
This video gives me patriotic goosebumps in the same way that a good worship song gives me Christian goosebumps.


2. I have a cabin on a lake to go to. Not saying I'm going or anything, but if I should so choose...

3. I still have a clean garage. I like opening the door and looking at it.
