On the Net today...

I am the picture of laziness this weekend.
Just sitting here in my pj's looking at my facebook newsfeed with much interest. I truly have such creative contacts. Or, as I prefer to call them, friends.

Rebekkah blogged about the snow this morning:
She's an artist, and this is her 'snowman'.
For real.
I KNOW!

Corinne posted a pic of her snowman too:

That puppy is too cute.

My young German relative is working in Paris right now (Persis in Paris) and posted some pics:

Max's friend, Jen, is in her 4th term at Pastry school and posted pics of her creations. These had me thinking of Max's gf, Halee, who loves whales:

LOVE them.

Rachelle sent a link to Kelly re: a creative wedding with lots of fun ideas:

The bride is an artist in her own right, and her work is available here.

My old friend, Brad, from school, bought a new snow blower:

Bummford 6100, ARARAR

Do you remember that Larry Norman thing I went to?
And how I was disappointed?

Well, the guy who is writing Larry Norman's Biography read my post and commented. He recommended I look at his website for the true story.

Tricia posted this awesome video about furniture design. UNBELIEVABLE. Watch it.

Plus she posted a link of "Ideas of How To Be Helpful" when a family has a newborn:

1. Buy us toilet paper, milk and beautiful whole grain bread.
2. Buy us a new garbage can with a swing top lid and 6 pairs of black cotton underpants (women’s size____).
3. Make us a big supper salad with feta cheese, black Kalamata olives, toasted almonds, organic green crispy things and a nice homemade dressing on the side. Drop it off and leave right away. Or, buy us frozen lasagna, garlic bread, a bag of salad, a big jug of juice, and maybe some cookies to have for dessert. Drop it off and leave right away.
4. Come over about 2 in the afternoon, hold the baby while I have a hot shower, put me to bed with the baby and then fold all the piles of laundry that have been dumped on the couch, beds or in the room corners. If there’s no laundry to fold yet, do some.

5. Come over at l0 a.m., make me eggs, toast and a 1/2 grapefruit. Clean my fridge and throw out everything you are in doubt about. Don’t ask me about anything; just use your best judgment.
There are more - check out the link if you're interested.

And lastly. On this lazy late winter morning, I updated my 101 Things to do in 1001 days list.
Three things I'm thankful for:
1. It's stopped snowing.
2. Sun is shining.
3. The Academy Awards are on in 4 hours. LOVE awards shows.
4. Thankful for (extended) family dinners:

Shalom,
