So after months of hearing noises (despite spending over $15,000 on the new roof in March) I finally called the Pest Detective.

He crawled through both attics. And yes, there are rats up there. But also raccoons. Big ones. As evidenced by the poop logs they leave behind.
I KNOW. GROSS.

So. Traps and poison and whatnot have been left out to rid me of my rodent issues.

Shudddder.

But I am so glad I'm getting that dealt with. Again.

Three things I'm thankful for:


1. MAX is here for night. Yay. And he's coming to work with me tomorrow. Another yay.
He's looking for work these days, so if you need a hardworking, handsome, friendly team player, send him a message. :)

2. Last minute, somewhat spontaneous visit with friends tonight. Needed that.

3. Second chances sprinkled with grace.
