Seriously.
How long have I been writing my list of Three Things I'm Thankful For?
About a hundred years maybe?
So how many things would you think I'm thankful for?
Probably about eleventy hundred million?
And in all this time I have not made the connection.
Then, today, while I'm minding my own business, just sitting at my desk watching hundreds of emails fill my inbox as I am copied on all the chatter that's taking place between the designers and the writers, my old boss, the new President of Arrow, Steve, sends me a Facebook message asking me about blogging.
(Hahahah. I find this funny and cool. He's the fricken President of an international leadership development ministry and has a network of a thousand high-end leaders. And yet? When he has a question about blogging? I'M HIS EXPERT.)
After I gave him my opinion on his blogging query, he asked me another question.
And whoa.
That man is brilliant at asking questions.

Oh shoot. It's Wednesday night. Midnight. And I HAVE to get the garbage and recycling to the curb. I've forgotten/not been interested for the last two weeks and I can't let it sit and fester in my garage for another week.
Give me a sec ...

K. I'm here. And soaking wet.
Hang on. I'll be right back.

Know what? Tonight was supposed to be my hair night. I hate washing my hair in the morning -it takes absolutely forever to dry. So I do it on Sunday night and Wednesday night. (I really should have washed it this morning, but I didn't allow enough time, so I just shook in about a cup of baby powder. YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE THE COMPLIMENTS I GOT ON MY HAIR TODAY.) SO embarrassing.
Anyway, it's after midnight, so it's too late to do it now. So I'll have to get up early tomorrow.
I really should go to bed now.
As much as I'd love to finish blogging my 'connection' piece, it's going to have to wait. I want to give it the attention it deserves. And I'd be rushing it if I did it now.
So. Sorry.
Come back tomorrow.
Three things I'm thankful for:
1. Saw a movie with my mom tonight:
And I'd give it a 6.5 out of 10.
Mostly because I need to develop a crush on the hero, and I Just Couldn't Do It.
Jack? Was this guy:
.in About A Boy (with Hugh Grant.)
Yes. I am shallow.
Plus.
There's the whole Robin Hood thing.
The setting of this movie takes place in a castle in the olden days too, and Jack? Wears a leather hoodie, just like Robin did. Only, Robin wore nice fitting pants too. And had those eyes.
This guy? Not so much.
Anyways.
It was OK, but not great.
Probably a good movie to see with one's young-ish sons.
2. I'm thankful for this day, it was such a good one.
3. I'm thankful for this kid. She's Rachel and Joel's - but they are OK to share. Seriously loaded with character.
Shalom,
