On Monday night eight of us (Yay for the first book club meeting where we ALL could participate) talked about this book:
It is a fascinating story about a young Columbian girl who was kidnapped from her backyard at age 4 and then abandoned in the jungle where she lived with a troop of monkeys for five years. And that? Is only the first third of the book.
I recommend it.
I got home around 9:30, then went for an hour-long walk in the rain with Mandi.
And today?
After work?
I drove out to Val's. Vanessa had a shower for Sharalin:
And now I'm at the lake.
Listening to the creek.
It's been a good start to this week...
Three things I'm thankful for:
1. Bathtubs.
2. Motion Detector Lights.
3. Night breezes.
Shalom,
