Not a Single Photo

My memory card, for my camera, stopped doing it's job.
I know, right?

So I'll just have to use my words.

By the time I got to the lake tonight. it was almost 10 o'clock. I had made a few stops along the way, then picked up 3 million dollars worth of groceries and using my Safeway discount, enjoyed a whopping 15 cents off PER LITRE of gas. Which amounted to a savings of about $4.00 offsetting the cost of groceries nicely.

Anyway, when I arrived, ALL MY KIDS WERE HERE ALREADY. Playing the new Mario Party Video game.

I love being at the lake. And I LOVE it when my kids are here. BUT IT FEELS EXTRA SPECIAL when they're all here when I arrive.

Everyone was starving, so we hunkered down in the kitchen, everyone pitching in with their hands or their opinions about our midnight snack of BBQ steak and baked pita with tzatziki dip.

So good.

Three things I'm thankful for:

1. Being a mom.
2. Kids who cook.
3. This place.

Shalom,
xo
